A little exploratory stroll through the old town centre is a real must! And, then perhaps, a quick look at the outskirts, too! There are so many artistic and historical treasures to be seen, fairy-tale castles, delighfully decorated little Gothic-style churches and many other intriguing architectural details. Museums with wonderfully interesting exhibits, a very modern Kunsthaus art gallery... and all framed by beautifully green countryside and natural beauty with lovely, shady walks and promenades and cool, central arcades, narrow, dark little alleys leading who-knows-where, frescoed walls and three-sided Erker bay windows jutting out from the top floors of the oldest houses. Culture - music and theatre, history and art ... what more could you want!
