One of the most enjoyable times to relax and walk outdoors is when the Alpine roses start to bloom. Gentle hiking is a great activity which encompasses mind, body and soul. Well-being comes first through slowing down, calmness and reflection instead of rushing mile after mile. Take a deep breath, pause, carry on at a gentle pace, take in the scenery and enjoy the silence – that makes walking fun. This gentle sport is suitable for all age groups, as it uses all muscles without overstretching them.
