April 6th 2013 On the farmer’s gourmet mile, local producers will offer various quality products at about 30 farmer’s and 3 gastronomy booths. The farmers’ market is a true experience for all your senses that you shouldn’t miss.

April-May In South Tyrol, spring is directly associated with the asparagus of Terlano. In April and May, gourmets can enjoy fresh-picked asparagus in all its variations at restaurants in and around Terlano.

April-May Local cooks spoil your palate with delicious specialities based on the dandelion. In natural meadows at the altitude of Alta Val di Non, the dandelion grows particularly well. 

May 8th - September 7th 2013 Haute cuisine, historic places and alpine pastures are the main elements of the gourmet event “Stars, castles, mountains“, which will take place on evenings from mid May until the beginning of September.

May 11th - 13th 2013 The Pinot Noir days are the only ones of their kind in Italy and take place in the scenic wine villages of Montagna and Egna, known as Italy’s “Pinot Noir heaven“. You can look forward to over 100 Pinot Noir wines.

May - October Every first Sunday in the months from May to October, the various restaurants and alpine pastures welcome you to take part in the “Tallner Sunntig” on the Hirzer plateau. Spend unforgettable hours with lots of music and enjoy traditional products.

May 16th - 20th 2013 Producers present their delicacies. Along the Passirio promenade you have the opportunity to look, compare, smell and taste, while wandering between ornamental flowerbeds and plant sculptures.

June 8th 2013 On this evening, over 30 winery cooperatives, private wineries, vineyards and winegrowers open their doors along the South Tyrolean Wine Road for tastings, guided wine cellar tours, readings, concerts, vernissages and much more.

May 24th - 26th 2013 The Bolzano Wine Tasting Festival is the most important event of the province’s winegrowing business. About 50 South Tyrolean producers will present their wines of 2012 as well as selected wines from previous vintages.

Beginning of July until mid July “Morgreti”, the day of St. Margareth, is an important day in the farmer’s calendar and reason enough for the restaurants in Val Sarentino to offer traditional food such as “Oufnar”, “Striezl”, “Türkenmus” and “Broutar”.

Enjoy delicious lamb dishes in the region of Val d’Ultimo/Ultental in South Tyrol. Every year in the area, the month of September is dedicated entirely to the lamb, with a range of culinary delights on offer, as well as cultural events connected to this animal.

October 4th - October 6th 2013 “Vinschger Paarlen”, “Breatlan” and “Schüttelbrot” are the most popular South Tyrolean types of bread. Three days long everything revolves around historical development, customs and traditions, recipes and also the historical baking house.

October 18th - 20th 2013 The arcades, alleys and streets of Merano turn into colourful areas, where winegrowers invite you to taste wine and grapes, craftsmen present traditional hand-made products and farmers offer South Tyrolean delicacies.

From mod-October to the beginning of November
, all of Tesimo/Tisens, Prissiano/Prissian and Foiano/Völlan is dedicated to the chestnut, with loads of special dishes and old recipes on offer, surrounded by the smell of fresh chestnut bread and delightful chestnut dumplings.
